My life coaching and psychological approaches are informed by a number of sources - the Unitive Approach, executive coaching, cognitive
behavioural psychology (CBT), schema therapy, psychoanalytic psychotherapy, existentialism, and philosophy. The most important
source my approach is informed by, of course, is you.
Unlike many people in this and other helping professions, I will
not pretend to know you, your concerns or difficulties before we have had a chance to work together, or to try to fit your concerns
to some prefabricated model, or set of generic techniques. I also do not pretend to have a set of answers based on privileged
expert knowledge to which I am the sole key holder. Instead, through collaborative work, with an emphasis on individual experience
and expression, I am dedicated to working together with genuine warmth, empathy and respect, on a wide range of life issues, without
the constraints on the frequency and type of contact one finds in other settings.
By becoming an active participant in determining
the content, direction and destination of our work’s journey together and beyond, you will come to "own" the work we undertake, and
to truly value the outcomes.
